- 12th with D.El.Ed or D.Ed (Special Education) or B.El.Ed or Degree
- Paper-2A (Classes VI to VIII):
- 12th with B.El.Ed / B.A / B.Sc or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed or Degree / PG with B.Ed, B.Ed (Special Education), B.Ed-M.Ed
- Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII):
- Degree / PG (Concerned Language) and Language Pandit Training Certificate
- Paper-2B (Classes VI to VIII in Special Schools):
- Degree or PG with B.Ed.(Special Education) or B.Ed (General) with Diploma (School Education) or B.Ed. Special Education and PGPC or PG Diploma (Special Education) or BA B.Ed. in Visual Impairment
Pass Criteria
- General Category (OC): 60% and above
- Backward Classes (BC): 50% and above
- Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Differently Abled (PH) & Ex-Servicemen: 40% and above
