Adampur | Police Station Adampur has arrested two youths connected to the fake currency network running from Delhi. Their names are Varun Walia alias Manna and Rahul. Both are said to be residents of Hoshiarpur. A case under section 489 (C) has been registered in this regard at Adampur police station. Police received information that a youth from Hoshiarpur was coming on a scooty. He is linked to a network of fake currency. The police caught him by setting a trap. 58 thousand fake currency was found in the search. This currency was in the form of Rs 2,000 notes. When Varun was questioned, he said that he had brought this note from his friend Rahul. He was going to run fake currency in the city, because if he used to run fake notes in his area, he would have been caught.
