Khanna | On May 17, the Khanna police arrested one accused and recovered 5 illegal pistols. Divesh resident of village Beri district Jhajjar Haryana, who was caught in the police investigation, had relations with gangster Gagandeep, a resident of Barnala lodged in Gurgaon Jail. Police brought Gagandeep Singh on production warrant. 5 more pistols have been recovered during interrogation. SSP Amneet Kaundal said that on May 17, Divesh was arrested along with 5 country-made pistols. Divesh had revealed that Gagandeep Singh supplies weapons to gangsters in several districts of Punjab. After naming Gagandeep in the case, the police brought Khanna from Gurgaon jail on a production warrant and illegal weapons were recovered at his instance. Gangster Gagandeep already has 39 cases registered against him.
