Motorola is set to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Moto G85 5G. Confirmed through a social media post by the company on Wednesday, the Moto G85 5G will make its debut in the Indian market next week. This follows its initial release in Europe on June 26 as a rebranded version of the Motorola S50 Neo, which launched in China alongside the Motorola Razr 50 series. With a dedicated microsite on Flipkart already live, most of the smartphone’s key specifications have been revealed ahead of its official Indian release.

In terms of build, the device is slim and lightweight, weighing in at 175 grams with a thickness of 7.59mm. The Moto G85 5G will run on the latest Android 14 operating system, with Motorola assuring two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

The camera setup on the Moto G85 5G includes a dual-camera system on the back. The primary camera is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), designed to capture clear and detailed images even in low-light conditions.
