The dead body of a woman has been found hanging from a tree in village Bandala of district Amritsar. The identity of the woman is Komalpreet Kaur, a resident of village Khatraya Kala. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. The mother of the deceased Mohinder Kaur, father Avtar Singh resident of village Rayali Khurd tehsil Batala have expressed suspicion of murder of the daughter. They said that daughter Komal was married two years ago to Sajanpreet, a resident of Khatraya Kalan district, Amritsar. A child was born in the daughter’s house 2 months ago, who has died. The daughter had an operation on her leg and was unable to walk. The last time I talked to my daughter was at 11 pm. Jandiala SHO Balwinder Singh has registered 302 IPC against the deceased’s husband Sajanpreet Singh and mother-in-law Paramjit Kaur.
