Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 23 years
• Candidates must have been born between 1st October 2001 and 30th September 2006. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for candidates from reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 12th Class or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Physical Standards and Fitness Requirements

To ensure that only the fittest candidates are selected for this demanding role, CISF has set stringent physical standards:

• Height: Minimum 170 cm
• Chest: 80-85 cm (minimum expansion of 5 cm)
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Candidates must complete a 5 km running event within 24 minutes.

• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Candidates: Exempted from the fee.
