Islamabad | Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Wednesday that the government is considering banning Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the May 9 incidents. Violent protests broke out across the country on May 9 following the arrest of former Prime Minister and party president Imran Khan. The Defense Minister said, a decision on the ban has not been taken yet, but a review is underway. If the government takes a decision in this regard, the matter will be sent to the Parliament for approval.
