Indonesia: Cheap houses made from used diapers of children

Jakarta Japanese scientists have found a unique way to get rid of baby diaper waste. They have used baby diaper waste in Indonesia to make concrete used to build walls for houses. This also resulted in disposal of waste and reduced the cost of building a house. Scientists of Kitakyushu University in Japan have done this experiment. In the concrete being prepared for the wall, up to 40% of the sand has been replaced with used baby diaper material. Siswanti Juraida, a civil engineer at Kitakyashu University at the Bandung Institute of Science and Technology near Jakarta, said it would lower the cost of homes.
