This brother-sister relationship played an important role in finalizing the story of Ekta’s upcoming film Ek Villain Returns. Ekta says about this, “During the lockdown, there was talk of making Ek Villain Returns with Mohit (director Mohit Suri), but it is difficult to find a great script for a sequel to a hit film.

There was an idea that he gave to Rohit Shetty, he is my Rakhi Bhai. I went to him, he said yes to give back the story. He said that this is the most powerful script. I took it by pressurizing Mohit, now you are taking it from me by pressurizing me. Then I told him that the sister has such a right. After that, writers Aseem Arora and Kanika Dhillon along with Mohit made some more changes in the story and prepared the script of the film. Ek Villain Returns starring John Abraham, Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria will hit the theaters on July 29.
