
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched new smart glasses in China and these smart glasses are named “Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera” which are based on AR technology. Augmented reality (AR) technology is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, and somatosensory.
In these new smart glasses of Xiaomi, camera sensors have been given on one side and a display component has been given on the other side. The weight of these new glasses is around 100g. As per the latest media reports, these smart glasses come with a 50-megapixel primary shooter on the left side, and an 8-megapixel shooter periscope telephoto lens.
Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera Snapdragon 8-series chipset from Qualcomm, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Coming to the battery of Smart Glasses, this 1,020mAh battery is paired with 10W fast charging which takes about 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 per cent. The price of the Mijia Glasses Camera is CNY2,499 and till now no announcement has been made of the launch of these smart glasses in any country other than China.
